Pinos Altos - Real Estate Scam?

A recent trip to Pinos Altos, an old silver mining town, a rental was advertised with some great incentives. After a 4 hour journey, I started smelling a scam. Too bad, I really liked this area and the possibility of re-establishing my music ventures in this area were promising, at least in my own mind.

I will be moving here soon.
