Wheel of Time Season 1 Episode 2 Review Reaction Shadow's Waiting - Whitecloaks & Shadar Logoth

The Wheel of Time series continues with an analysis "deep dive" of Season 1 Episode 2 "Shadow's Waiting". This gives us our introduction and Moiraine leading the first meeting with the White Cloaks, the children of the light are not what I expected, but overall this episode sticks more to the lore than the first. We also get to see Shadar Logoth which looked awesome, although what they did to Lan there, was an abomination.

Rand, Perrin, Mat and Egwene continue their journey through Tarrin Ferry, while Egwene learns more about her ability to channel Saidar, Perrin meets his first wolves and Rand shouts a bit. This episode has some great parts, but some truly awful additions that shouldn't have been added or changed from the books. The strengths of the Wheel of Time Amazon series are definitely the books and lore that underpin it, while it's weaknesses seem to be anything that strays from the original text. It's an easy fix, but one not likely to be implemented.
