DC Comics Artist Caught Tracing Marvel Art? Here's Why That's Bad...

An artist for DC comics was caught supposedly tracing Marvel art and a lot of people have been sharing their thoughts about art tracing. My personal opinion is that if you are a professional in ANY type of comics and you decide to trace someone else's work, then you are not an artist, you are a thief. You are not valuing your art, so why should anyone else value your art?

I can speak from an artist's point of view when I hear stories like this, but I am still curious to hear what everyone else has to say about it, regardless of whether you are an artist or not.
