Cannabis commercial rejected by NBC for Super Bowl.. I wonder why?

A commercial from cannabis e-commerce and advertising platform Weedmaps was rejected by NBC for one of its expensive Super Bowl ad slots. (Forbes)

The advertisement, which does not specifically promote purchasing cannabis, was rejected by NBC after Weedmaps approached the network last year.

“The answer was a hard no – they wouldn’t even entertain the conversation,” the Weedmaps CEO said.
