A Talented Young Romanian Who Needs Help for His Family

While leaving my local grocery store in Austin, TX today my focus on meeting hectic deadlines at work shifted quickly to a mission to help this very kind and talented young man standing in the parking lot a few feet away playing "Hallelujah" on his violin with tremendous passion & determination. While handing his accompanying mother some money, I learned he has 3 very young children, a wife and a mother to care for and is about to be evicted and out on the street in a few days. His grandfather taught him how to play violin at 6 years old and now, here in this strange new land he is unable to find work as a painter so he is using the tremendous talent God gave him in an effort to raise enough money to feed his family and keep them safe in their small apartment.
