School Board refusing to continue meeting

I am posting this video for you to see the truth and the complete encounter. The vice president of the board of Spokane Public Schools stated on Facebook that, "many unmasked stormed the dias, cursing and throwing envelopes at us."
Not what I witnessed. Some were not in masks but the majority of people were masked. Some audience members were pleading with others to put masks on. And listen for the audience members begging the board to wait, to stay and continue the meeting.
There was frustration but the papers were placed in front of the board members. Unfortunately one person dropped the F bomb twice. And notice the security officer confiscating the papers which is not legal.

Our Medical Freedom group of parents showed up, in masks to read a letter requesting to create a coalition of understanding and dialog between their elected school board and the community. We also served the board a public disclosure request to help guide this open dialog. The other group of parents were also there to serve papers. There was a great deal of frustration as many parents have been speaking at board meetings for over a year and receiving little to no communication or efforts to collaborate. We met with the sheriff ahead of time so he would be aware of our peaceful intent. Let's hope the dialog can begin and be built on mutual respect and dignity. Our voices need to be heard and considered.
