We All Niggas To The Man

I started stand up accidentally in March 2009 when my good childhood friend, Dean Negri, asked me to come see him perform at Gladys Simon's open mic at The Comic Strip.

I wound up getting up as a goof - and boom I was off to the races....

This set is four months later, Wed 7/8/09, at an open mic at the Village Lantern on Bleeker St in West Village, NYC - where I nearly caused a race riot for using the N word - which back in 2009 still wasn't as radioactive as it is today.

I believe freedom of speech is either free everyone or its not.

There should be no special classes of people in America with respect to anything - language, race, employment, etc.

If we all agree that a 2 tier system of justice is wrong, then to impose the same with respect to language should not be tolerated either.

The bullshit that "Only certain people can use the N word and certain people can not," is as wrong as "Only certain people can use this water fountain and certain people can not."

Naturally there are consequences for doing wrong be it in action as well as speech. Honestly, I think the only thing a person should be judged for is not the words they use, but their INTENTION behind using such words..

If the N word is used to demean or hurt - WRONG! If it's used for a laugh or to enlighten - then right on my niggas! ;P One love - Peace!
