Day 4, 04: Heading to Jordan

The remainder of our day on February 20th was spent riding the bus to the Jordanian border, walking ourselves and our luggage through Jordanian security, and then back onto another bus for the long ride to Petra. This video is mostly a slideshow of shots taken from the bus windows, with a few short video clips included. We made a stop for lunch at a mountaintop restaurant in Madaba ("Hekayet Nebo") with a beautiful view of the Gilead Mountains. Right near the restaurant was a shop called "Madaba Tree of Life" where the locals were handmaking mosaics. Their work was breathtaking! We also made an evening rest stop at a Coffee & Gift Shop along Jordan's Highway 15. The last several pictures were taken from the balcony of our hotel overlooking the gateway to Petra.
