There are four types of locomotion behavior shown by the Javan gibbon: brachiating, climbing, jumping and bipedal (walking with two feet). Although brachiation is the most frequent locomotion behavior as Javan gibbon adapts with their arboreal lifestyle, jumping between tree canopy is one of the amazing behaviors to see in the wild. Here, we documented how javan gibbon jumps to reach the feeding tree. Enjoy! 🐵
