Everybody's Talking Darlin'

It's Thursday and everybody is talking one way or another... ever notice how the Internet and social media has now allowed everyone to live that 15 minutes of fame that Andy Warhol promised everybody... except everybody wants it over and over again. We thought it was just 15 minutes once but apparently that's not how everybody else is interpreting it. And is this a contest to see how many times we can use the word, "everybody?" Any way, we mix Harry Nilsson and the Average White Band and viola - the Segue City Special is the flavor for the day - maybe even longer than 15 minutes...

Segue City will be a recurring short-form programming element of "The Big Kahuna" - one of GET's developmental Internet Radio formats created by Dain Schult. It’s all a part of GET’s radio division – American Internet & Radio (“AIR”).

It revives the art of mixing two songs together in a seamless pattern where it is tough to tell where the first song ended and the second one began. Sometimes the segues may also revolve around thematic ideas like matching or similar song titles. Other times there's hidden meanings and Easter Eggs in the mix as well. We'll try anything because no two Segue City Specials will ever be exactly the same...
