Daydreamin' of Havana or Maybe It was Nawlins

Wanderlust is behind today's Segue City Special as we drift from the islands over to the Mississippi and wander the streets of Nawlins. We love that town but we could never live there because we'd be off the hook on all the sugar in their pralines, beignets, Hurricanes and if it wasn't that, all the Cajun and Creole dishes would get us a lifetime membership in a weight loss program... The town is like Godiva chocolate in that it is fun to eat on occasion but having it every day would be too much... but then again too much is never enough...

Segue City will be a recurring short-form programming element of "The Big Kahuna" - one of GET's developmental Internet Radio formats created by Dain Schult. It’s all a part of GET’s radio division – American Internet & Radio (“AIR”).

It revives the art of mixing two songs together in a seamless pattern where it is tough to tell where the first song ended and the second one began. Sometimes the segues may also revolve around thematic ideas like matching or similar song titles. Other times there's hidden meanings and Easter Eggs in the mix as well. We'll try anything because no two Segue City Specials will ever be exactly the same...
