We're in a weird mood today so the Segue City Special is weird too as we mix one One Hit Wonder with another one as we flip from Sweathog to Sylvester both from the Seventies... They came, they got their 15 minutes of fame and then ended up playing in out of the way Holiday Inns lounges in Great Falls, Montana or Twin Falls, Idaho... that's how those things happen. But it's Hump Day and somehow this all works or at least we've convinced ourselves it does.

Segue City will be a recurring short-form programming element of "The Big Kahuna" - one of GET's developmental Internet Radio formats created by Dain Schult. It’s all a part of GET’s radio division – American Internet & Radio (“AIR”).

It revives the art of mixing two songs together in a seamless pattern where it is tough to tell where the first song ended and the second one began. Sometimes the segues may also revolve around thematic ideas like matching or similar song titles. Other times there's hidden meanings and Easter Eggs in the mix as well. We'll try anything because no two Segue City Specials will ever be exactly the same...
