Ending Trudeau’s Tyranny: A Poem by Alissa Gilbert

My name is Alissa Gilbert
I am a concerned Canadian citizen, residing in Ontario. Although today, February 8th, 2022, is my 33rd birthday, I see no cause for celebration, for the democratic land of my birth, ‘the true North strong and free,’ now more closely resembles an autocratic North Korea.
In this defining moment of our country’s history, my conscience compels me to publicly and courageously take a stand for truth, freedom, justice, and peace by composing a poem highlighting these values. I do so independently, apart from any group or organization on whose behalf I cannot speak. More importantly, I let my voice be heard out of necessity, despite my fear of persecution, because as the adage goes, “the only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing.” ’ If this resonates with you, please kindly share and help this message to go viral. And remember dear friends, ‘the pen is mightier than the sword.’ Although our Charter of Rights and Freedoms has been repeatedly violated by our government, violence is not the answer. And though I condemn Prime Minister Trudeau’s misdeeds in the strongest terms possible, I wish no harm upon him. With this important disclaimer, let us proceed. My poem is entitled:

Ending Trudeau’s Tyranny

You seek to control the masses by controlling the narrative.
Towards this end, gaslighting and scapegoating are imperative.
Freedom of speech and a fair, balanced debate
Social platforms are called to eliminate.
You push your propaganda with censorship and lies,
Whilst all whistleblowers you cunningly demonize.
Hatred and division you are happy to foment,
As Canada undergoes a sinister descent.

It does not take a great intellectual
To know the vaccines are ineffectual.
Where is the supposed protection
From transmission and infection?
This experimental injection
You coercively mandate
Despite the high survival rate.
Nuremberg you violate,
As informed consent is withdrawn
When science and truth are trampled on
And our fundamental rights are gone.
Meanwhile, Big Pharma is granted legal immunity,
So their vaccines can injure and kill with impunity,
Their many victims in our global community.
End this insanity
And crimes against humanity!
Draconian lockdown and restriction
Is an unnecessary affliction
To our basic autonomy
And destroyed economy.

If to vaccination we do not submit,
The loss of our jobs you cruelly permit.
You applaud the unlawful and punitive tax
Reserved for Quebecers who don’t receive the vax.
And to add the most vulnerable mice to your lab,
You waive parental rights in the ultimate backstab,
And brainwash our young children into taking the jab.
Global vaccine passports have gained notoriety
For forbidding the unvaxxed from participating in society.
This new segregation you also enforce
And turn us into pariahs without remorse.

When we peacefully protest and resist
Your deception and your iron fist,
You call us ‘racist and misogynist.’
Such a ludicrous denigration
Is a source of humiliation
For our once proud and free nation.
You are our Hitler, we are your Jew.
You blame us for the pandemic too,
When the vaxxed are in the ICU.

You falsely accuse the peace-loving Freedom Convoy of sedition,
When the lifting of harmful mandates and restrictions is their petition.
You refuse to meet, and instead you cravenly flee
And call these countless heroes “a fringe minority.”
You illicitly deprive them of their funds, food, and fuel
And use the media, police, and court as your tool.

The true threat and consequence of this disease,
This planned bioweapon of Fauci’s,
Is the communism of the Chinese
And the Gestapo of the Nazis
Demanding ‘your papers and your liberties!’

Oh Trudeau,
You wanted power and fame,
But isn’t it an awful shame
That you will always be remembered with a frown
As an oppressor and ignorant black-face clown
Who took our freedom away
And led our country astray.

May parliament recognize that you are unfit
And grant us a leader who will never commit
Your treason and betrayal
Which cry for justice to prevail.
In a poetic twist of fate, may your own freedom be denied
With the various restrictions a prison sentence will provide.

Very soon patriots will tell the wonderful story
Of how Canada was restored to her former glory.
Comrades, defend our liberty until you halt
This coordinated and global assault.
Every single country under similar duress
Eagerly support and depend upon our success.
Remain steadfast for he who sows, reaps.
And be valiant since we play for keeps.

Beloved champions of freedom, stand your ground.
May courage, love and optimism abound
While our national anthem and oath resound:
‘Oh Canada…glorious and free…
We stand on guard for thee! ‘
