Sheepshead Fishing Tips and Tricks

I can say this if you don't get him or her on the first bump you will probably only get one other chance "if that." If they're in the area they bite really quick and you usually only get one shot at setting that hook per fiddler crab. You've got to get a feel for it. Practice makes progress. And oh yeah, you have to get you mind right as you will get hung from time to time fishing in the rocks. It's just part of it!! Sometimes I set it on the first feel I get from the fish. Other times if they are slow biting; I might set the hook the second time they bump. Which every way you choose to go, you need to set that hook like you mean it or else the hook won't go through.
