After His Own Heart

Have you ever felt embarrassed or disqualified to come to the Lord because of something you did in your past? Or maybe something you spoke about somebody, to somebody, or just said? Or maybe it was something you thought about 2 minutes ago?

Well, be encouraged. We have all done something, we’ve all said something, and we’ve all thought something. We have all blown it at times. Take David, famously known as the “man after Gods own heart”. He was a murderer and an adulterer, yet he still is remarked as the “man after Gods own heart”. Nothing you’ve said, done, or thought separates you from the love God has for you. We don’t have to be perfect or have it all together. The only thing that matters is His love for you. He’s seeking after you. He’s pursuing you.

The only thing he wants from you is YOUR heart to be after him.
