Bible Bullies & Bible Abuses

Christianity has had its bullies. The Bible has been abused by Christians and non-Christians. Some preachers are little more than bullies bossing people around rather than nurturing Christians along the road to heaven. A lot of ugly things have been done in the name of God, Jesus, and religion. However, this does not mean that the Bible itself is wrong.

Think about it this way. A lot of ugly things have been done in the name of love, but we don't claim that love is wrong. In fact, most of us pursue love. A lot of ugly things have been done in the name of money, but we don't normally condemn money. In fact, most people desire more money. Just because the bible, Christianity, church, and religion have been abused does not prove that God is wrong.
