The Fletcher Henderson Orchestra was the most popular African-American band of the 1920's.

This is a re-release, circa 1970's, on BYG Records, of Fletcher Henderson (1897-1952) recordings from 1923.

These recordings were taken from the original 78 rpm records so there is surface noise in many of these recordings.
