One who gives a gift of terumah

“Rashi implies that one who gives a gift of terumah (gift for a higher purpose) to the Lord is himself uplifted. By giving of our resources to God, we spiritually elevate ourselves. The one who gives to the work of the Lord is like a person who climbs ever higher into the presence of God.”
