In this monologue, I want to talk about a peculiar human tendency. I am going to call it "The Golden Age Syndrome". Human beings tend to reminisce about their past all the time and keep talking about a glorious period from their past. But is there anything like a Golden Age? Were we better off in our past? If yes how do we measure this? If not how do we establish it?
