Covidkon: Covid-19 through the eyes of an epidemiologist: about cause and effect

In the lecture at the 1st Czecho-Slovak Covid-19 Conference prof. MUDr. Jiří Beran, CSc. brings an epidemiological view of the correct concept of cause and effect. A wrong view is the virus as a cause and a positive test as the effect, while in the correct concept the cause equals a sick person and the result is death. Procedures for what to do in the epidemic, whether it is possible to define a risk group, how to protect it, how to stop the flow of people to the hospital and other related issues will also depend on this.
