Epiphone Masterbilt Acoustic-Electric Guitar vs Gibson Songwriter Standard Acoustic-Electric Guitar

Epiphone Masterbilt DR-500MCE acoustic electric guitar built in 2014 vs Gibson Songwriter Standard EC Rosewood Burst acoustic electric guitar built in 2021.
Both guitars are all-solid wood with 25.5" scale length.
Both have spruce tops, the Epiphone is mahogany back and sides while the Gibson is Rosewood back and sides.
They each have rosewood fretboard.
I did not compare the electronics as I'm not a huge fan of that aspect of them anyway.
I played the same three chords, with thumb, then Dunlop Tortex .50, followed by Dunlop Ultex .90, then a final comparison with the thumb on each.
Let me know what you think of the comparison.
In the room, the Gibson is louder and resonates more. Not surprising as the top is thinner and has lacquer instead of urethane finish. That said, the tones are both so nice that one isn't better than the other, just different, and not all that different.
The Martin Marquis 11.5 to 47 low-tension strings are great! The arey the "Silked, Silk and Steel" set. Tension is about 122 lbs rather than 150 lbs or more for regular strings. Far easier to play, but you do have to make some simple adjustments...don't play them as hard. They seem to not only be easier to play, but on both guitars, they have the same affect as lowering from standard to a half-step down in that the entire body becomes more resonant.
