Salvation is only for those who willing die to their sins. True Repentance is when a person renounces and turns from their sins to Jesus Christ! That is death to sin! Repentance is dying to sin, in order to live for Christ!

Galatians 5:24And they that are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.
