Freedom Convoy: Canadian broadcaster spreads “Russian actors” conspiracy theory

Nil Koksal, an anchor on Canada’s state broadcaster CBC suggested that Russian “actors” were behind the Freedom Convoy on air Friday, without offering any evidence except Ottawa’s support of Ukraine.

After PM Justin Trudeau slammed the truckers as “violent and racist” and refused to meet them because of their “hateful rhetoric”, Freedom Convoy’s GoFundMe page has now been temporarily closed after reaching over $10mn to ensure it complies with our terms of service”.

Facebook has also banned the group’s page and closed personal accounts of two movement leaders.

Are they running out of ideas how to silence the masses?
