The Sanctuary is a very simple soft hackle fly that has lots of action and attraction once in the water. Sometimes referred to as the Gold Ribbed Hare's Ear Soft Hackle, it has the ability to attract fish from a distance and keep them interested once they get close tot he fly. In regards to tying, it has only a few steps and can be mastered in no time. It is also an excellent fly to practice your skills on (dubbing, tags and ribbing). It does not have any fancy hackles or tying materials and in no time you can have a bunch to fill a fly box. It is also a great panfish fly for those slow days when they are not focused on the surface. - Enjoy
