Elaine Kennelly is not a Pulizter Prize Winner, BUT she did write her first book, Something Sisters 31 Day Devotional. It is in conjunction with her website, SomethingSisters.com, a celebration of friendhip, faith, and fun for women over 50. Her Best Friend Barb, and she met while teaching school over 40 years ago in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin. Their friendship remained steadfast even though Barb moved to Tustin, California and Elaine moved to Huntsville, Alabama. Close women friendships are extra special, and those friendships which stand the test of time, are very precious. If you are a woman, and you are reading this, YOU have a Something Sister, too! These devotions are written by Elaine and meant to be spiritual food for all, no matter what your age. Each day has a devotion, a prayer, and a poem, all original work by Elaine. She has a sensitive heart because God has led her through the suicide death of her 18 year old son. She shares the pain and the power of God to heal a broken heart.
