Cold weather catfishing with bobbers and bacon

Fishing the trees under bird roost for catfish in cold weather, using bacon for bait and a bobber. Works all over on any lake with a large group of cormorants roosting in trees.

Called spat fishing in east TX or plop fishing.

I have done this every winter for the last 10 years on many lakes.
