Indigenous Peoples Day Ra-spect and Thanksgiving Truth Lovestream

Thanksgiving. Perhaps an even better summary of the American Nightmare than Christmas; an excuse for overconsumption and gluttony inspired by lies, betrayal, exploitation, and a false pride that the truth reveals to be shameful. It is punctuated by Black Friday, a sort of psuedo-holiday where people punch out grandmother in order to get a PS-666, or the new I--phone, at a "discount" that is often 50% higher than the normal retail price.
Yes, the United Sates has a sort of collective NPD; they destroy other cultures for profit and privilege and then look down on the people that they have destroyed as the exploited struggle to overcome the damage that has been inflicted upon them by their fat, sneering, arrogant, American Idiot counterparts.
Instead of spending our time elucidating the criminal douchery of the US and its citizens ostriching skills, I will share some of the stories and contributions that Native Americans have, and continue to make, to the world at large.
From deep lessons learned from elders and Roadmen of the Navajo Nation, sharing the pain of genocide with friends on reservations, the time Navajo Tobacco magick saved my life in the Amazon, and my Blackfeet grandmothers history making story, we will hold a space of honor and reverence, acknowledgement, and transmutation (hopefully) of the Old Wounds of History.
Even though we have tried to destroy the Indigenous of the world, they are begrudgingly working still to save us all.
