Train Smart: Static Stretch Examples for Practical Shooting

Static stretching is when you hold a stretch for about 30 seconds and repeat. This helps with flexibility over time, range of motion, muscle recovery, increased blood flow, and enhanced performance. This type of stretching should be done after a match or a workout, not before.

Here are some examples of static stretches that are beneficial for practical shooting. There is a stretch for sciatic pain as well. This video is a supplement to the book Train Smart: Self-Coaching for Practical Shooting. Thank you Sam Callahan for assisting in the demos!
