Sin is not just weakness but wickedness. It's not just an issue but open rebellion against God. It's not struggle but disobedience. We can't deal with sin properly if we misdiagnose it. Joseph saw lust as wickedness so he fled from it, may see lust as weakness so they indulge in it.
