Montgomery County Food Bank - Outrun Hunger

The Montgomery County Food Bank has announced its first-ever fun run, Outrun Hunger, a Mardi Gras-themed event that includes a 5K, 10K, & 1K Parade on February 26, 2022, from 8:00 am - 12:00 pm at The Lake House at Grand Central Park. There will be a carnival, vendor fair with face painters, balloon artists, Cajun food trucks, and more! All ages and runner experience levels are encouraged to attend this exciting, family-friendly event, pets too!

Brian Dawson, Go Texan Parade
Join us at the 57th Annual Go Texan Parade as decorative floats intermingle with hundreds on horseback to fill the streets with hoof beats, marching bands, elected officials, businesses, and organizations.
Enthusiastic parade spectators can line the streets and sidewalks to be involved in one of the area’s most popular celebrations! The parade takes place Saturday, February 19, 2022, at 1:00 pm in downtown Conroe.
The parade is presented by the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo™ Houston Metro Go Texan Committee Conroe/Willis/The Woodlands Subcommittee and the Conroe/Lake Conroe Chamber of Commerce.
This year Brady F. Carruth, Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo™ Chairman of the Board, serves as the Grand Marshal for the parade.
