Two-week-old kittens abandoned in bag at Port Lincoln: bottle-feeding

This tiny kitten is just one of five who were found abandoned in a plastic bag in Port Lincoln 😢 Weighing just 200g when brought the poor little babies aren't even able to feed or toilet themselves – but they've been separated from their mum 💔

As you can see in this absolutely adorable video, the two-week-olds are currently receiving specialised foster care, involving round-the-clock feeding of special formulas to provide the much-needed nutrients they would have received from their mum's milk.

We will do our very best to give each and every kitten the best chance of survival, but the care of these vulnerable babies does come at a cost to our charity.
