Covid, New Zealand, Qatar, the Taliban and a pregnant journalist

After she was told that she was not eligible for exemption from the strict COVID-19 border control in New Zealand, Bellis called her contacts among the Taliban (she previously worked as a reporter in Afghanistan and did reports with interviews with both sides of the conflict), and she was told that she could give birth in Afghanistan, especially since after refusing to let her into New Zealand, she had no options other than Afghanistan, since Bellis had a residence permit in Kabul.

As a result, the Taliban granted her asylum in Afghanistan. According to Bellis, the Taliban told her that if she had problems with the fact that she was not married, let her tell everyone that she was married, and if the situation worsened, let her call "where she should", specially trained people would come and solve her problem.
