February 11th is a day of celebration for music lovers. It’s a day of remembrance for the Beatles, Elton John, Chuck Berry and other artists who have made an impact on rock and roll history.
On this day in 1964, The Beatles performed on the Ed Sullivan Show for the first time. They performed a total of five songs: “All My Loving”, “Till There Was You”, “She Loves You”, “I Want To Hold Your Hand” and “I Saw Her Standing There”.
In 1970, Elton John released his debut album Empty Sky which included the song "Your Song". In 1971 he released Madman Across The Water which had some hits like "Levon"
