James Bond Reboot i dont think is gonna be good for series, making new character is better idea

I understand if out of idea and they need new 007 Character. But reboot would feel very cheap rather than expanding the franchise. One way i think would be better is have James Bond funeral, and find a new 007 that is a skilled agent in reserve. But not like there has been news on who next 007 is gonna be. Not gonna put it out of the way that i would deny seeing a reboot... but it sounds like a really bad idea and it just wouldnt do anything good for the series overall
