20220201 - Liberty Minute

I'm Peter Serefine and this is the Liberty Minute for Tuesday, day 688 of 15 days to flatten the curve.
Our federal government is a leviathan and I blame the last 100 years of the progressive movement.
In 1913, when Woodrow Wilson took office, the federal government had about 400 civilian employees for a population of 97 million. That is one federal employee per 250,000 citizens.
Today we have a population of 330 million and 2.1 million civilian federal employees. That is one federal employee per 157 citizens.
In that time period, our population grew by 340% but our government grew by 5250%.
I guess we know why the federal government is inserting itself into everything we do, why government spending is completely unchecked, and why We The People must regain control.
