Christians have a deeper layer of confidence. Christians can look at themselves, see that they are stumbling, and yet be positive because they know they can do better. Christianity teaches this optimism of, "I may look ugly right now, but give me some time, give me some practice, and I know that I can do this." (Philippians 4:13).
