Baked Vegan Mac And Cheese

A plant-based twist on a classic recipe, this baked vegan mac and cheese is an easy to make cheesy plant-based dinner idea.

Ingredients
8 oz of chickpea macaroni pasta
2 cup of vegan cheese
1/2 cup of almond milk
1/2 tsp of onion powder
1/2 tsp of garlic powder
1/2 cup of panko
1/2 tsp of paprika

Directions
1. Preheat oven to 400 F.

2. Bring a large pot of water to a boil and add in chickpea pasta. Reduce to medium high heat and cook for approximately 20 minutes, or until pasta is done to your liking.

3. Add vegan cheese, almond milk, onion powder, and garlic powder to a small sauce pan. Heat on low for 15 minutes to melt cheese, stirring frequently.

4. Add to cooked pasta to a baking dish. Pour in cheese and mix well. Top with panko and paprika.

5. Bake for 20 minutes.

6. Remove from oven and let cool. Serve and enjoy!
