We are taking a look at how the Day-And-Date Release Strategy employed by Jason Kilar, CEO of WarnerMedia actually helped HBO Max gain a foothold in The Streaming Wars. Dubbed "Project Popcorn" (no, I'm not kidding) has seen tremendous growth for HBO Max in the U.S. This is all backed by data and statistics, of course. The real question is what will the drop off be for 2022 knowing that WarnerMedia aren't sticking with Day-And-Date Releases for their upcoming movies?
