500 years of Western science has given the world unimaginable levels of prosperity, freedom, and opportunity. Unfortunately, the greatest human discovery of all, science, is being neglected and undermined at every turn.

Fifty years after the extraordinary moon landing, Western countries have turned away from the sheer exuberance, wonder, joy, and hope that science has given the world, into lives spent devouring mindless gruel through a computer screen. As a result, depression and hopelessness are soaring.

It was science that dragged humanity out of the misery of feudalism, it was science that defeated so many diseases that have caused millions of deaths, and it is science that is dramatically increasing survival rates for cancer, alzheimer's, and other ailments, and it is science that may soon reverse quadriplegia.
