Therefore you see we've got to come back to the Word. Of all of God's works; the greatest of his works is His Word. And that's what I'd like to see happen in 1964 beyond anything that's happened in 63 and we've moved tremendously with the moving of the Word. But I'd like to see this Word moved out. I'd like to see you people get one or two other people into your home and feed them the Word. I'd like for you to get the Word to them. I don't care how you do it, do it! And I don't care if you do it in my fashion, if you wear my tie or my shirt, I don't care how you do it. I just want the job done. [Inaudible.]
The point is I want to Minister the Word. Remember what it says in, what is it? 138th psalm. I read it to you one night. Of all of God's works... [Psalm] 138:2, is that what it is? We better look it up again, might refresh our memory. Is that what it is? Right right right right right.
Psalm 138:2 I will worship toward thy holy temple, and praise thy name for thy lovingkindness and for thy truth: for thou [thou] hast magnified thy word above all thy name.
Isn't that wonderful. Thou hast magnified His Word above his name. That means that God has put his name underneath the Word. His name is the foundation on which the Word is set; He has under written it with his name. You understand that? He has counter signed the check with His name. His Word he has under-girded with his name. That's why of all of God's works; we talk about the stars in their courses and the universes and the planets and all that. Wonderful. But nothing to equal this (The Word). Of all of God's works... Man is a wonderful work of God; the creation of forming, the making of man, all tremendous things, but not even that. Of all of God's works, the greatest of His works is His Word. That's why we believe the Word of God is the will of God. And that it means what it says and says what it means. And God has a purpose for everything he says, where he says it, why he says it. John knows it from memory I have quoted it so often. [inaudible]
Isn't that wonderful? That's why class let's get the Word out. You people in here tonight, many of you have studied the Word for hours on the principles of the Foundational class, Advanced class. You know more of the Word of God than the church has known for centuries. Teach it to at least one person. Then teach it to two. Then teach it to three. Teach it, teach it. But you're, you're going to have to get the people in their homes. You're gonna have to either bring them into yours or you go over to theirs. And you cannot teach anybody unless you can get their attention. You cannot teach anyone unless they're listening to you, right? Okay. That's why you can't walk into a house and say well sit down here you old bird I want to tell you something. They will boot you out. That's why we have to take Dale Carnegie's course on How to Win Friends. [Laughs] Shoot yes.
Look you're the only people can stand other people. [Laughter] Why sure, we've got to be that kind of people. We must be the kind of people who are able to put up with the idiosyncrasies and all the other stuff that other people can't stand in others. You've got to be able to let people walk on your feet. Because you've got to get to the place that you have no corns, so it won't hurt you if they walk over you. You must become an extension of Jesus Christ in 1964. You and I must become Christ in the World. You know what they did to him? Walked over him. Spit in his face, everything. But he still got the Word out. You and I have to get the Word out. That's why when people walk over you. Suppose they gripe at you suppose they say you're a religious nut? Well so what? Don't you know that nuts have good meat in them? [Laughter] Wasn't the lady that once said somebody had called her a crackpot? And she said well he's so good I wish there was a bigger crack in the pot. [Laughter]
But we have to become Christ in the World. Do we have a song like that in there: Can others see Jesus in me? How can the World see Jesus if it cannot see Jesus in me?
