OVERNIGHT ON THE ICE IN -20 DEGREE BLIZZARD - 30 MPH Winds, Hot [Underwater Camera] Perch Fishing

Honest. Real. Wild. And getting that next-generation outdoors. Huntin, fishin, lovin everyday!

Today, I traveled to South Dakota to sleep in my Core Ice trailer ice house with Lydia and Maggie. The weather took a terrible turn and we had 30 mph winds and -20 degree temps. I kept the trailer around 55 degrees to preserve propane (turns out, it was unnecessary - I didn't even go through one tank and I had two) and we were plenty comfortable. The fishing was terrible, however, because I was stuck in a snowdrift so we camped on the ice far away from our ideal fishing spot.

The next day, Victor came and pulled us out. Next, we went fishing on a different lake where Maggie recently caught a 28-inch trophy walleye. We hammered the yellow perch and even caught a few walleye. Best of all, we recorder underwater camera film using the Aqua Vu camera. Livescope was also used to watch the fish, so we were running on all cyliders.
