THE WRITER DID WHAT??? New Mortal Kombat Sequel Movie Announced + My Thoughts

A sequel to Mortal Kombat 2021 - which launched on HBO Max last year as well as landing in theaters - has officially been announced. Unfortunately the writer seems to have some dubious credits according to IMDB, many of them for Netflix, such as the universally hated Death Note Movie as well as something less offensive like Umbrella Academy - though I'm weary of the new season! But this writer, Jeremy Slater, is also working on Moon Knight for Disney Plus - and the jury is still out on that one. SHOULD WE BE WORRIED?
