Today we will talk about Dugny mechanical plant with a 300-year history, which was located in Ferzikovsky district of Kaluga region.
The iron foundry in Dugna was located 40 versts from Kaluga, downstream of the Oka River, and 12 versts from the Syzrano-Vyazemskaya railroad station - Ferzikovo.
In 2015 the company was declared bankrupt and the plant had its last smelting.
The housing of the foundry, was a monument of architecture.
The buildings were demolished.
