The Balfour Declaration, Brought to You by the JBS - part 15: Alternate Views on Turkey Carving

Having completed my reading of the J&G view of the Sr. Morgenthau Plan for a separate peace with the Ottomans, I dive into two alternative takes: a very brief mention of it in Alison Weir's Against Our Better Judgment and a much longer and fascinating take in Robert Schneer's The Balfour Declaration: The Origins of the Arab-Israeli Conflict. Both of these are in conflict with the J&G take and also with each other, which of course points out the basic problem with understanding and assessing history as it is written.
