The defender here gets a chair to block the weapon and ultimately ends up attacking the attacker.

Remember, violence is nothing but a race to see who can inflict more damage to the other person. When you are in a life-threatening situation, you got to know it's you and you alone who's gotta protect yourself, because even if there's a crowd around you, the chances are they're just going to be spectators out there.

Your counter-ambush depends on timing and your physical ability at the same time, so you gotta be very sure about those things. Self-defense is all about the SELF!
