Anthony Shaffer: Pres. LCPR, U.S. readiness to fight for UKR, New Paradigms w/Sargis Sangari EP #84

On Tuesday, 25 JAN 22, on New Paradigms with Sargis Sangari, Episode #84, LTC Anthony Shaffer USA (Ret.), President of The London Center for Policy Research (#LCRP) joined me to discuss the issues & topics associated with #Ukraine.

LTC Shaffer addressed if this is an American fight or are we even ready for it? He discussed how the approach by the #Biden administration distracts from the issues the administration has to face but does not want to meet.

LTC Shaffer addressed the current U.S. military's possible limitations in its ability to support #NATO in both #hybridwar or #totalwar scenarios. He discussed the problems associated with the tactical commitment to deploy the 82nd Airborne Light Infantry to face Russian heavy Armor in defense of NATO partners after Russia begins its attack, possibly in mid-February.

LTC Shaffer and I agreed that the political advisors to the #POTUS have failed to understand that Russia's strategic deterrence would have required, at a minimum, a U.S./NATO heavy armor presence in Ukraine as soon as #Russia began its force buildup.

LTC Shaffer recommended that strategic deterrence may still be achievable if the administration immediately deploys U.S. military, specifically Armor units, into the Baltic states.

LTC Shaffer, a pioneer in Cyber Operations, discussed how the current Information Operations # I.O. campaign launched by the administration does not affect the Russian planning and decision-making process and fails to understand why and how Putin is expanding the Russian sphere of influence.

LTC Shaffer described in plain terms how Russia is conducting its five-dimensional warfare against the U.S. and provided simple and achievable objectives to counter Russia in #POLMIL terms allowing a possibility to achieve victory for the U.S.

Finally, LTC Shaffer also pointed out that the U.S. should begin unifying our natural allies globally in #Asia and SE Asia to counter the #CCP and Russia over the long run.
