Exposing Propaganda EP4: State Media Proxies

A state media proxy is when a private news organization reports in a manner similar to a state media organization, as a result of backroom deals and questionable connections. In the USA, multiple major media conglomerates often pretend to be unbiased and neutral towards the facts they claim to be reporting, while exchanging millions of dollars in Washington with political elites. This video details a portion of those backroom deals using publicly available data and how the media is connected to congress, which exposes how much of what Americans see on cable TV is not what it seems.

The sad reality is that most US mainstream news is just state media by proxy.
