  Cheri- "I do think that they can go pretty far. I don't think it is enough in the relationship just to have good relationship habits because when couples don't do the other work of the relationship, then their habits can get really sticky.
So then they don't bring any energy to those habits. And that's when people start complaining about falling into a rut where we're feeling like there's just no excitement in the relationship anymore."
Cheri Timko is a Couples Relationship Coach who teaches couples to use straightforward relationship habits to build their relationship so they can build their relationship even while focused on other things. She has been happily married for 20 years. She is also a veteran psychotherapist and homeschool mom to three teenage daughters.
