Guy Giard Music Video & Composition - O Rage - Quartet for two sopranos (2004 - 2022)

In 2004 I composed "O Rage" , a Quartet for choir and two sopranos. I submitted it to the University of Montreal and was accepted in music writing, but unfortunately, I couldn’t complete my degree. I am happy to share it with you in MIDI and video version, hoping one day to have it played by a quartet and soloists. Here is the text:

O Rage of the underworld
O Rage of darkness
Shadows revolt
Humanity is torn for a piece of Earth
Inherited from the Gods

Lust and ecstasy
I bathe in light
Light of Love
Light of Love and Beauty

O Rage of the underworld

Intoxicating fragrances
Bewitching fragrances
Eternal perfumes are spreading in my heart
My heart bathes in the light of Love and Beauty

O Rage of Angels
O Rage of the Heavens

Hate is at our doors
Love is trampled by fallen souls
Strayed from the Gods

The Suns are extinguished
The Suns are no more
The songs are of silence
Music is no more

Angels and demons are holding hands
and cry the ashes of Humanity
