Canal tour in rural Thailand by longtail boat

We take a tour along the Mahasawat Canal by a longtail boat. The canal was dug in 1860 and still serves the local communities. We see daily life along the canal as well as see a lotus farm, a floating market, a fruit farm and finally an orchid farm. We see how to make the rice snacks and learn about products that are made from the “mini jackfruit” that Thais call “Gek”. Enjoy the video!
